Solving the Equation

We have a formula for the expected growth rate of the population. It has the simple form:

ΔN = εN

where ε = 0.01 can be interpreted as the probability that a random individual gets hit at any lightning strike.

Now we want to use this to find a formula for the size of the population at any time t.  

If we let this be N(t), then what is N(t+1)?
